Jay Chen wins Alumni Award from TACL and the Honorable Judy Chu (BOE)

6/14/2008, Rosemead CA - Jay Chen, a former political intern with the Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL) was honored by TACL and Board of Equalization Member Judy Chu at the 2008 TACL banquet, held at the Doubletree Hotel in Rosemead.

Jay was a political intern in 1996 and worked in the Washington D.C. office of Congressman Ed Royce prior to attending Harvard University. He currently serves as a mentor and advisor to the political intern program. He was honored along with award-winning fiction writer and lawyer Charles Yu. Charles is also a former intern and is the author of Third Class Superhero.
